Harold M. Love, Jr.

Tennessee State Representative – District 58

Born December 14, 1972, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Rep. Harold M. Love, Sr., and Mary Y. Love,  he is the last of five children. He graduated from Tennessee State University in 1994 with a Degree in Economics and Finance with a minor in Political Science, graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Divinity in 1998 with a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies, and graduated from Tennessee State University 2017 with Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration. 

Love is an ordained Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and is the Pastor of Lee Chapel AME Church, Nashville, Tennessee. He serves on the following Committees in the House of Representatives: Education, Local  Government, Education K-12 Subcommittee, and Election/Campaign Finance Subcommittee. He serves on the Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (TACIR) and is the House Democratic Caucus, Assistant Leader. His wife Leah Love is an Attorney and owner of Dupree Consulting Group.
