Jade Brown Russell is a proud native of New Orleans. Jade is the Principal of J.D. Russell Consulting, a full-service consulting firm focusing on providing equity, diversity, and inclusion consulting services, legal consulting services and government relations services. Jade is active in civic leadership. She is currently the Chairwoman of the Urban League of Louisiana, a commissioner of the Resilient Louisiana Commission, and a board member of E Pluribus Unum.
In 2003, she left her home state of Louisiana to pursue a legal career at Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago, Illinois, where she gained experience in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, corporate governance, and securities related transactions. In early 2007, Jade returned to New Orleans to join a regional law firm, Adams and Reese LLP. In 2010, Jade joined Caesars Entertainment to become Counsel of Regional Operations, where she addressed litigation, gaming, corporate and regulatory legal issues for the company’s properties in Louisiana, Biloxi, MS, and Ohio.
Jade is an Equity Diversity & Inclusion consultant with over 15 years of experience in helping companies create and execute global equity strategies, develop creative policy and programmatic strategies, and manage employer brand communications.
